The Unsung Hero of a Humming Textile Line
In a textile plant, speed is king. Seriously, everything moves fast. That’s why we built our UV curing lamps to keep up, no matter how hard your line is running—from the first coat to the final finish. These things are tough. They’re built for non-stop action, where a breakdown just isn’t an option. You get steady, reliable power, so every inch of fabric comes out cured just right.
Power and Size: The Details That Matter
At the heart of it all is a serious UV lamp. We typically spec these at 2500W, and they run on a 400V industrial power supply. This combo gives you the muscle you need for fast, effective curing. The size is just as thoughtful. The lamp is usually around 300mm long, a standard that slips right into existing curing modules. No need to re-engineer your whole line. And that 400V input? It keeps the electrical current lower, which means you can run more units on the same circuit without tripping your panel.
Built to Take a Beating on the Factory Floor
This isn’t delicate equipment. We wrap the lamp in a quartz envelope with a special coating. It focuses the UV power and can handle the sudden heat-up and cool-down cycles of a busy automated line. The connection is just as rugged. We use the standard R7s bi-pin connector. It gives you a solid, secure contact that can handle high current without sparking. So you wire it up quickly, and it stays put, even when the whole machine is shaking.
What It Feels Like on the Line
Out on the shop floor, these lamps do the heavy lifting. They cure inks, adhesives, and coatings in seconds, keeping pace with machines churning out thousands of garments per shift. Now, that power comes with a catch. The lamp generates a lot of heat, so your machine’s cooling system has to be up to the task. Without proper airflow or water cooling, things will run hot, and that shortens the life of the components. But here’s the best part: we designed the whole unit to be a simple, drop-in replacement. You get all the power you need with almost no hassle or rework.
